Kid's ClubAt The Learning Center, a ministry of Living Word Lutheran Church, we provide a safe, well-supervised, loving atmosphere for your kinder to fifth grade child in our after-school Kid's Club Program. This program includes a variety of learning centers and activities designed to fully engage the interests of your children. We also offer homework help for children who need a little extra support. Children who attend TLC are welcome to bring their own snack. After school, children are offered snack upon their arrival. Following snack, the children have their daily discussion surrounding the weekly Bible theme and verse as well as a special topic for each day.
Parents can put their minds at ease knowing their child is actively involved in an array of learning activities, from science and math to arts and crafts along with a variety of Bible themed activities. We offer an innovative after-school program that coincides with Frog Street, our educational program. Each week is theme-based, and the activities incorporated daily will be focused on that theme and our Bible theme. Themes and activities change weekly and can be adapted based on the interests of the class.
